Getting Started¶
Get from zero to your first enriched incident in under 10 minutes.
Prerequisites¶
- A Noctuary account (sign up)
- An ingest API key (Settings → API Keys → Create → type: ingest)
- A host running your application with OpenTelemetry logs available
Overview¶
1. Install the Noctuary Agent on your host
2. Configure it with your ingest API key
3. Point your OTel Collector at the agent
4. Watch context events appear in the dashboard
Step 1 — Create an ingest API key¶
Log in to the Noctuary dashboard and navigate to Settings → API Keys.
Click Create key and choose type ingest. Copy the key — it is shown once only.
Warning
Store the key securely. If you lose it, revoke it and create a new one.
